- The Regulatory Affairs Associate Director will play a vital role in the development, management, and optimisation of artwork for pharmaceutical products.
- To oversee the artwork creation process, ensuring compliance with Dechra branding guidelines, regional regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
- To lead, manage and support the global artwork team.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Responsible for leadership and management of the global artwork team to co-ordinate new artwork production for product packaging according to regulatory legislation and Dechra packaging guidelines.
- Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, manufacturing and product development teams to ensure accuracy and compliance of all artwork in accordance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, EMA) and Marketing Authorisations.
- Create, implement, and oversee best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the artwork management process, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in packaging technology to continuously improve the artwork development process.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and innovations that enhance productivity and quality.
The Ideal Candidate

- Experience in regulatory affairs within a global pharmaceutical role, ideally in animal health.
- Experience of pharmaceutical artwork and/or labelling processes.
- Manages a team with different functions some remotely located.
- Robust knowledge of effective management skills including delegation, conflict resolution, capacity planning, career development, motivational leadership
- Develops processes and infrastructure to drive team productivity and quality of deliverables

- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Setting up and maintaining manual and electronic filing systems
Desirable
- Proficiency in artwork management software and tools (e.g., Artwork Management Systems, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with print production processes and experience working with external vendors
- Project management experience
