The Opportunity
With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products (Australia) is seeking an experienced Customer Data Analyst. The Customer Data Analyst is primarily responsible for the maintenance and analytics relating to the CRM and Customer Data across ANZ in order to support our Commercial business strategies and objectives.
This role is an internal customer facing position that provides support primarily to the commercial teams. The Customer Data Analyst will operate in a hybrid working environment, sometimes in the office, sometimes from home… which means more flexibility for you.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Administer CRM (Salesforce) and third Party Customer Data
- Provide first line support and first contact point for CRM & Customer Sales Data questions and issues in ANZ
- Liaise with the business to understand Salesforce & Customer Data reporting needs
- Drive adoption of the Salesforce CRM platform throughout the business
- Identify Salesforce improvements required by the business
- Manage local sales data uploads
- Contribute to the CRM roadmap to drive sales force effectiveness and efficiency into the future
- Ensure the quality, timeliness and consistency of reports delivered periodically
- Train users in existing and new systems functionalities
The Ideal Candidate

- Proven experience implementing, configuring or administering Salesforce.com
- Experience with pre-load and post-load data validation with ability to interrogate results
- Experience of reporting / business insight, ideally in a Salesforce context
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Pro-active and flexible approach to work with exceptional planning, organisational and analytical skills
- Ability to write TSQL queries, DAX & M formulas to support data modelling, highly regarded but not essential
- Salesforce Administrator Certification, highly regarded but not essential
- Educated to degree level or equivalent within a related discipline is desirable but non-essential
- Experience with Excel Data Model development, highly regarded but not essential
- Microsoft Power BI, SSMS or Azure Data Studio and Excel VBA knowledge would be advantageous
