The Opportunity 

With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products (Australia) is expanding. We are seeing an experienced Customer Service Officer to ensure we are consistently providing exceptional service to our customers.

The Customer Service Officer is primarily responsible for inbound and outbound customer-facing activities including prompt handling of customer questions, issues and orders. 

You will provide support to both our Companion Animal and Farm (Large) Animal Business Units and have an engaging demeanour to suit this customer centric position. There is future scope for this position to operate in a hybrid working environment, which means more flexibility.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Process product orders including administration, enquiries, cancellations, complaints 
  • Act as an initial point of contact for all customer service interactions 
  • Support the exportation of Dechra products internationally 
  • Actively manage all customer enquiries for all Dechra products
  • Manage customer complaints
  • Provide support to the Sales teams 
  • Log all customer enquiries and recommend process improvements
  • Provide backup administrative support as required 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably with animal health products
  • Ability to multitask and provide timely, high quality customer service to customers
  • Recent ERP and CRM System experience
  • Strong computer literacy and proficient in all Microsoft office features
  • Deliver a positive customer experience in all interactions
  • Professional and friendly manner

A competitive remuneration is on offer (based on experience).
