The Opportunity 

The Finance Business Partner actively helps improve the performance of the business and provides full business finance support to the Country Manager who has P&L responsibility for the business across the Region or Country.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Execute financial planning and analysis processes including forecast and budget processes for the markets and continuous analytics on market performance and related areas
  • Process development and optimization as it relates to areas of pricing, commissions, rebates and discounts, etc.
  • Month-end closing process for all countries/markets including input in judgment areas to Accounting team and approve the release of financial report content
  • Assist with audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Financial sparring partner to the Country Managers as well as the constant link between business and finance
  • Support business case development and analytics for campaigns, projects, etc.
  • Support pricing analytics and pricing proposal development
  • Participate in bonus target setting process and review of actual realization
  • Benchmark of market KPI’s.
  • Proactively advises and challenges the business

Essential

  • Relevant degree or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in a business control position within a sales & marketing organisation
  • Significant experience with financial analysis and reporting on key ratios
  • Ability to clearly and convincingly present and communicate on the outcome of financial analytics and drive relevant process change, behavior or actions across the business
  • Understanding key metrics that drive financial performance
  • Good knowledge of English and another European language (verbal and in writing) - (language preference depending on region)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to travel

Desirable

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and SAP an advantage
  • Experience with Business Intelligence preferred

Additional Details

  • Being based in the UK is preferable but candidates within Europe will be considered for this position
  • Day rate contractors will also be considered
