Opportunity
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our teams in Oudewater and Den Bosch. The Finance Manager plays an active role in improving business performance and provides comprehensive financial support to the Country Manager, who holds P&L responsibility for the business across the country. Additionally, the Finance Manager oversees the accounting teams based in Oudewater, 's-Hertogenbosch, and Bladel.

Main Responsibilities
- Execute financial planning and analysis processes, including forecast and budget cycles, with continuous performance analytics for markets and related areas.
- Lead process development and optimization, particularly in pricing, commissions, rebates, discounts, and similar areas.
- Oversee the month-end closing process for the Netherlands, providing judgment inputs to the Accounting team and approving the release of financial reports.
- Manage the accounting team, ensuring smooth daily and monthly transactional processing.
- Act as a liaison between External Auditors, Tax Advisors, and the Accounting Team to efficiently plan and complete audits, ensuring timely submission of group reports, statutory accounts, and tax returns.
- Collaborate with the payroll clerk to review and approve monthly payroll and address ad hoc payroll queries.
- Provide commercial support and financial advice to the Country Manager, including business case development, pricing strategies, analytics, market KPIs, and operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including ESG, CSRD, insurance, fleet management, and statistical reporting.
De ideale kandidaat
The Ideal Candidate
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a business control role or with an audit firm
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, preferably with a specialization or qualification in Accounting or Controlling
- Has strong leadership skills with a focus on planning and organizing
- Has sound judgment and excellent problem analysis abilities
- Shows a high level of integrity and sensitivity to others
- Collaborative team player with a results-oriented mindset
- Extensive experience in financial analysis, reporting on key ratios, and performance metrics.
- Proven experience working with third-party advisors (audit and tax) and completing Dutch statutory accounts.
- Strong understanding of key financial performance drivers and metrics.
- Proficient in both English and Dutch (spoken and written).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to clearly and persuasively present financial analyses and drive process improvements or changes in business behavior.
- Willingness to travel between Den Bosch and Oudewater on a (bi)weekly basis, with occasional travel across Europe.
