The Opportunity
With a growing diverse portfolio of quality animal products Dechra Veterinary Products (Australia) is seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Administrator to join the team. The role will work closely with the Head of HR, APAC and provide support to all aspects of the employee lifecycle for Australia, New Zealand and South Korea.
Role Responsibility
Join our dynamic team and take on a role with a broad and varied remit. As our new HR Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:
- HR Administration: Manage all HR-related tasks, including letter generation, policy management, and maintaining staff files.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate recruitment processes and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
- HRIS Management: Oversee our HR Information System to keep employee records up-to-date.
- Payroll Preparation: Collaborate with the Head of HR, APAC, to prepare payroll information.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to our vibrant company culture by supporting health, wellbeing, and volunteering initiatives.
- HR Projects: Participate in various HR projects and other duties as needed
The Ideal Candidate

- Tertiary qualifications in HR (or studying towards completion)
- Previous HR Administration experience would be beneficial, however we are open to training the right individual (if you do not have experience, please use your cover letter to explain why you would be great!)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- A positive attitude and passionate about HR
- Sound experience of Microsoft Office and previous HRIS/payroll experience would be advantageous
- Demonstrated time management skills and proactive approach.
- Unrestricted and ongoing working rights in Australia
