The Opportunity
Reporting to the VP of Digital Strategy, the Head - Amazon Business will be responsible for developing the relationship between the company and Amazon US & Worldwide. You will own and deliver sales and share targets by developing the commercial strategy, leading the hands on operational execution, driving commercial negotiations and build collaborative relationships with Amazon both at local and global level. You will build the US business action plan to implement the Amazon strategy in order to grow sales revenues, improve profitability & map it with regional priorities and drive the execution forward.

Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

Accountable for relationship with Amazon at US and Global, creating and communicating the Amazon account strategy and mapping it with Dechra priorities and Veterinarian centric strategy in order to identify revenue opportunities.

Develop the Amazon team and coordinate with Dechra Omnichannel & Digital marketing teams and other key internal stakeholders.

Be responsible for Amazon negotiations, investment agreements and contracts and ensure that processes are seamless and conform to commercial and regulatory requirements.

Achieve assigned targets against strategic objectives in Amazon (revenue, profitability, forecast accuracy, trend analysis, financial planning and digital marketing).

Develop the business by playing a lead role in executing on business development opportunities and build strong relationships at a senior level within Amazon.

Successfully introduce and implement new product categories by designing best in class Go to Market strategies in Amazon.

Leverage data to understand the algorithm and the competitive landscape to create a unique holistic Amazon strategy and identified the key business drivers at ASIN level that increase acquisition, retention and brand loyalty.

Drive/Coordinate Marketing campaigns and Partnerships with Amazon.
The Ideal Candidate

- Extensive Amazon experience with preferable Healthcare or Consumer goods in multi-channel / multi markets and multi category business.
- Senior level experience and background in account management of large E-commerce accounts or worked in large r(e)tailers at US and International level. Amazon strategic partnership experience required.
- Structured, highly driven and solution-oriented person with ability to build strategic relationships.
- Ability to work in multi-functional matrix organizations and across many geographies.
- Motivational leader with high quality collaboration and influencing skills to ensure entire organization is behind the set strategies.
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills. The role will regularly present and communicate at the most senior levels at both our company and Amazon.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to drive and coordinate projects on a global scale.
