The Opportunity
This role is fully responsible for housekeeping in the GMP area. In addition, this role is responsible for maintaining routine supplies, such as garbing and PPE, stocked in the associated process areas.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Ensure all the entire GMP area is cleaned on a daily basis.
- Ensure all the trash in the assigned GMP rooms is removed daily.
- Serve as a backup for removing trash from the process area.
- Ensure the airlock is clean and trash is removed at the assigned intervals throughout the day.
- Assist as a material handler for moving materials in and out of the GMP area
- Serve as cleaner of all plastic pallets in the GMP area.
- Ensure rooms are stocked with the appropriate garb and PPE, as applicable.
- Serve as a backup in packaging area for non-critical functions, such as stacking boxes and/or pallets, but not limited to.
The Ideal Candidate

- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
Knowledge and Experience:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment including set-up, operation, cleaning and basic maintenance of manufacturing and packaging equipment. Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent Documentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to use measuring devices such as scales, balances, calipers, etc.
- Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude in order to problem solve effectively.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Pharmaceutical or other regulatory (cGMP) experience a plus.
- Able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
