The Opportunity 

The  Operations Supervisor oversees our production operations for both manufacturing and filling of finished products. Must guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. The supervisor is an integral contributor of the manufacturing process and supports the Operations Manager. The employee must be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.The goal is to ensure that production processess deliver products of  maximum quallity in a profitable manner.

Role Responsibility

The Challenge

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

• Supervise manufacturing and filling Operations.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Oversee and coach employees
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
• Perform all responsibilities are describe and ensure compliance with cGMP.
•  Responsible for record keeping and documentation of all Log Sheets.
• Lead by Example
• Monitor and track OEE for each area
• Complete and approved product and label reconciliation
• Assist in area investigations
• Perform all other duties as required

• Key Performance Indicators

• Lead and ensure delivery of  production schedule to attain schedule adherence
• Comply with all EH&S
• Build an effective team with use of labor with correct skills, in a safe manner, within budget
• Support projects related to line efficiencies and area improvements
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• Ensure resources are trained in their tasks

• Experience of working within a compliance/regulated industry Preferred: Previous supervision experience Knowledge of process application, equipment and integrated business systems approaches Working knowledge of MS Office products Experience of working within a GMP environment Knowledgeable of Production, HSE, Quality and facilities within a Pharmaceutical environment Good employee relations experience Experience troubleshooting area equipment.
