The Opportunity
Working within the Supply Chain team, you will coordinate artwork changes to packaging and printed components by liaising with suppliers and various internal colleagues.
Role Responsibility
The Challenge
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- To provide a packing technology support function, co-ordinating the Artwork Approval and Origination Control System, maintaining both electronic and paper records.
- Liaise with relevant departments and personnel such as Quality, Production, Regulatory Affairs, Affiliate Regulatory Representatives, Marketing and Production Planners to ensure the timely generation and approval of artwork.
- Liaising with customers/suppliers to ensure new artworks are introduced in a controlled manner. Co-ordinate stock usage, ensuring the reject procedure is followed through to its natural conclusion.
- Manage the attainment and generation of all necessary information required for packaging in accordance with SOPs and manage the circulation of artwork for approval in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure standard templates and artwork PDFs are maintained and latest versions are readily available and monitor/control artwork changes.
- To support the introduction of new product introductions to the business (or significant changes to existing products including line extensions) liaising with all departments as necessary. This includes responsibility for the generation and approval of relevant documentation i.e. specifications, master batch records, product formulation sheets etc. and holding meetings as necessary.
