This role facilitates the integrated approach in the management of Dechra’s product launches coming from product Development, Tech transfers and geographical expansions Agreeing priorities with the business for the various integrated projects and highlighting risk with appropriate mitigation plans to ensure delivery against the plan in all key measure areas. Attention to detail and developing relationships to deliver working with regulatory, finance, product development, commercial and manufacturing through their project teams. Aligning project plans to enable high level reporting and critical pathway management in concurrent projects. Engage with wider stakeholders at key decision points, such as legal, internal and external network and commercial partners as appropriate to ensure the appropriate team is connected
Role Responsibility
The Challenge
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Develop aligned approach and overarching framework in conjunction with peers, to enable streamlined reporting from existing project teams within functions
- Liaise with the project teams within functions and escalate barriers to success
- Provide project financial and status updates as required.
- Use effective of Project tools and SharePoint as requested
- Provide Portfolio Level reporting as requested, highlighting risk and potential derailers
- Balance the project management support needs of multiple concurrent projects with international project teams.
- Facilitate the delivery of products across the business within timelines, in a compliant manner
- Lead the project life cycle plan within Dechra to deliver the strategic plan
- Provide additional project and portfolio management support as needed to ensure the continued timely delivery of Dechra’s pipelines.

- At a minimum 5 years’ work experience within project management.
- Experience with MS project and project management methodology
- Must be a team player with flexibility to facilitate others to deliver
- Understanding of regulatory, manufacturing, product development and commercial requirements within a pharma business
- Mandatory to have solid interpersonal skills and be adaptable
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office) and an ability to pick up new systems & software, including MS Project and others as required
- Demonstrate strong analytical & organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in English essential Experience with Project Server/online and SharePoint
- Knowledge of project management in the pharmaceutical industry
- Residence in a commutable distance from the office in Portland, Maine is essential for this position
