The Opportunity
This role leads the integrated approach to the management of Dechra’s product launches. Accountable for leading cross functional teams, in the end-to-end delivery of Product Launches, from all avenues within the business, including but not limited to New Product Integrations, Lifecyle management and Geographic expansions. They are the face of the project, both internally and externally and is responsible for the communication of project updates to stakeholders.
You will actively ensure alignment between project benefit and project need through the lifecycle of the project, ensuring that supply reliability is integrated into the project objective. Ambassador for change, promoting and aligning team in approach and ways of working.
Occasional global travel may be required.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Overall accountability for delivery of assigned product launches.
- Partners the receiver of project output, ensuring that project deliverables are continuously aligned with the horizon at time of launch.
- Facilitates the generation of project plans, ensuring project team executes the delivery of the plan, in line with agreed results, times and budgets.
- Maintaining an overview of the project including potential risks to timeline and/or budget and facilitates the team in identifying and troubleshooting of barriers to success.
- Identify / coordinate the development of strategies to accelerate projects where possible for endorsement by business owners.
- Works with key stakeholders to ensure the correct project team & resource is in place, as project progresses through project phases.
- Maintains a clear vision and direction of project, managing decision making and escalation of change requests.
- Generates motivation and collaboration within project team, ensuring mutual understanding of the interdependency of individual Team Member’s output to reach the project milestones and goals.
- Ensures accurate maintenance of Project sites and plans and the generation of project documentation, including meeting minutes and PSD.
- Leads the delivery and reporting of projects, within the product launch and PMO framework and acts as a role model to adopting new processes and best practices.
- Communicates project updates, ensuring appropriate RACI model and all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
- Fosters lessons learnt processes and sees opportunities for optimisation of processes.
- Progresses specified launch activities.
- Accountable for aligning key stakeholders by ensuring communication and information is available to enable continuity of supply post launch.
