The Opportunity

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

The QA Associate functions includes but are not limited to:

Service Delivery

  • To perform Batch Record review and verify that products are manufactured in accordance with relevant procedures, regulations, and Marketing.
  • Approval of Master Manufacturing and Packaging documents.
  • To maintain the Change Control System, ensuring that changes are approved in a timely manner, including issuing of electronic and paper documentation.
  • To maintain the CAPA, OOS, and Reject Logs and systems.
  • To monitor Key Performance Indicator data on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • To write Product Quality Reviews as per the schedule.
  • To assist in the writing, reviewing, and issuing of SOPs and other documentation.
  • To oversee document control system.
  • To investigate and respond to product complaints.
  • To maintain the Internal Audit system, and carry out audits.
  • Assist in hosting regulatory and customer audits of the site.
  • To write and conduct the Induction Training for new starters and the annual GMP refresher training.
  • Material testing as required.
  • Release of GMP materials.
  • Any other duties as may be requested and agreed to meet the company and departmental needs.

Data Analysis

  • To contribute to maintaining and developing computerized databases and logs.
  • To use such databases to track and trend relevant quality indicators.
  • To produce reports on the basis of such analysis

 

 

Key Performance Indicators

  • Accuracy in monitoring and approving all batch records, documents, change control system, deviation system, and various other logs and systems.
  • Timely completion of Product Quality Reviews, SOPs, and Training Programs.

 

  • Accurate and timely preparation for Audits, active participation in Audits, and proper response to audit exceptions.

Qualifications

Previous experience working within a quality environment. 

 

Desirable:

Ability to be highly organized and work well under pressure. 

Ability to take ownership of task independently and drive execution.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Flexible and Adaptable

Advanced level mastery of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.

Previous experience working within a Quality Assurance department. 

Continuous quality improvement systems such as Lean Manufacture and Six Sigma.

Knowledge and Experience

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) 

Working knowledge of Quality systems and procedures. 

Ability to challenge others constructively and to work effectively with teams from other departments.

 

 

Skills

  • Intermediate level mastery of Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook. 
  • Good administration skills
