Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- create and manage supply plan and inventory level for all relevant external or internal customers
- maintain internal and external customer service level for finished products
- use the supply planner dashboard to take forward demand forecast information by SKU and compare it with existing inventory and future pending purchase orders (resupplying inventory) and create a dynamic inventory balance
- active participation in S&OP process, preparation of all relevant information and proactive approach to all inconsistencies in product supply
- issues weekly production schedules and provides daily updates through facilitation of the daily cross-functional supply meeting
- preparation and distribution of supply reports before meetings, on local level or Group level
- accuracy of all planning master data important for supply planning in ERP system and other planning documents/tools (BOM, MOQ, safety stock, order policies and other key parameters)
- communication and relationship to Group Supply and Sales related to supply and supply planning policies
- respond to supply related questions (product availability, issue resolution)
- co-ordinate new product introduction and support product transfers according to agreed plan
- preparation, maintain and analyse of relevant KPI’s and propose actions for improvements
- generates inventory reports and provides information as needed to various internal customers
- inventory optimisation
- risk inventory management (short expiration date, turnover rate) and proposal for actions to avoid inventory write offs
- participation in product costing and product costing simulation for NPI and product transfers
- recommend supply cost saving proposals
- propose and lead Supply planning improvement projects
- maintaining and development of relationship with internal and external stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- strong knowledge and experience in demand and supply planning, MRP, production planning and inventory control
- experienced planner with minimum 2 years’ experience in supply planning or purchasing
- experience planning in an Sales and Operations Planning process (preferred)
- APICs qualified (preferred)
- experience working in multi-national supply organisations dealing with multiple countries and suppliers (preferred)
- working knowledge of site ERP system (preferred)
