The Opportunity
**Available on a 6 months fixed term contract**
We're looking for an energetic, motivated and proactive individual to join our Tele-Sales Account Management team, initially on a 6 months interim basis. The successful candidate will provide first class customer service to Dechra customers and will work to professionally sell, manage and develop the business potential of the Dechra Veterinary Products pharmaceutical and nutritional range to the veterinary profession.
Role Responsibility
The Challenge
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Carry out specified sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business targets – managing time and productivity in line with set Key Performance Indicators and targets
- Manage defined business projects / territory according to agreed sales and marketing strategy
- Manage product and service mix according to agreed objectives
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate telephone contacts, business solutions and ethical sales methods.
- Provide a quality of service, business growth and customers satisfaction through tele-account management activity utilising the Dechra Selling Skills Model.
- Use customer CRM (Salesforce) to track and monitor customer contacts, and ensure all relevant information changes are routinely updated.
- Plan and carry out sales and marketing activities to agreed timescales. Integrate sales efforts with internal and external customers to planned sales and marketing activities, product launches, promotions and existing product ranges.
- Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using all appropriate methods in a timely and professional manner.
- Record, analyse all customer calls and customer activity.
- Attend and present at all customer meetings, congress and events and internal Dechra business meetings as required.
- Attend training programmes to ensure continuous professional development and ensure skills and techniques are continually developing.
- Ensure personal adherence to health and safety requirements and all requirements relating to care of equipment provided e.g. laptop, printer, mobile phone and any other property that you are issued for personal use.
