The Opportunity 

**Initially available on a 2 year fixed term contract**

Flexible Location - Available on a hybrid basis from either our Northwich or Shrewsbury offices

Dechra is embarking on a major global infrastructure programme to transform our document and quality management processes and systems. The outcome will be to increase harmonisation of our practices across our manufacturing sites, quality and regulatory functions. This will in turn create increased efficiency, compliance and productivity.

We are seeking a Training Specialist to lead the design, delivery, rollout and maintenance of training of all  systems and associated business processes to the global teams, working closely with the system vendors, as well as with internal SMEs and superuser network.

Role Responsibility

The Challenge

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Conducting needs analysis to understand number of systems and business processes that will need to be trained throughout the programme.
  • Leading the scoping and design of the training programme including developing and maintaining the global Training Management Plan for relevant systems.
  • Leading the successful delivery of the training programme, including
    • creating a harmonised process for training both for system roll-out and maintenance
    • building up training capabilities amongst internal trainers
    • planning and managing the preparation of the training materials
    • supporting the trainers to use appropriate methods to ensure effective training delivery
    • co-ordinating the nominated superusers, liaising with the Programme and line manager teams.
  • Liaising with the system vendor training leads to help ensure successful planning and delivery of train-the-trainer courses
  • Develop a Training Project Plan, with agreed milestones, measures and updates with key stakeholders
  • Work with all key stakeholders, HR, digital learning and functional leads to ensure an aligned delivery programme
  • Analysing end-user feedback and promoting continuous improvement as the training programme is rolled-out
  • Support translation timelines and windows to ensure effective global rollout of programmes

About You

  • Experience of co-ordinating systems or other technical training to a wider workforce
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products
  • Experience creating and delivering training Training needs analysis (TNA)  
  • Experience in project management
  • Familiar with Pharmaceutical industry language is desirable
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is desirable ​
