Dechra Veterinary Products has an opening for a eCommerce Manager Nutrition

Role Responsibility

In conjunction with the Marketing & Technical Director Nutrition, you will be responsible for expanding the success of Specific® within Europe through webchannel (sales & marketing) & vet channel (EU vet market marketing support). You’ll get freedom and responsibility by working on big impactful projects instead of only tasks.

This includes:

  • Execute Specific® online Strategy Plan, in line with the Company Strategy.
  • Develop commercial & marketing relationships with web channel stakeholders at central EU level
  • Reinforce the marketing team by taking part of both strategical and operational marketing tasks.
  • Develop & manage the organization of marketing campaigns, in collaboration with the team, to ensure Dechra/Specific® is presented in an appropriate level for the business opportunities.
  • Lead the concept of digital innovation for everything that relates to your service offering.
  • Develop positioning concepts that are creative, innovative and differentiate from the competition. The positioning should also be consistent across the business.
  • Delivery of the Digital Marketing strategy across social channels (including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest) working in multiple languages
  • Deliver a web channel marketing plan that meets business expectations and is manageable for market and country implementation.
  • Ensure the marketing plan optimizes the return on investment within the budgetary constraints.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and support local marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and present relevant data, trends, successes and opportunities, constantly challenging performance to support constant improvement.
  • Drive tactics to improve engagement and KPI’s to monitor ROI
  • Use internal market intelligence to maintain an understanding of customer requirements, market dynamics and competitor opportunities/threats.
  • Manage market research to support business decisions
  • Be a contact person in the nutrition central marketing team for international Product Manager colleagues and attend international meetings with them on a quarterly base.

This job might be for you when you :

  • Preferable current relevant working experience (3-5 years) in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferable with experience in Pet Diets or at least affinity with it.
  • Preferable degree / Post Graduate in Marketing and/or Business
  • A higher education or degree within the area of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • (additional) Willingness to travel throughout EU on a regular basis
  • Ability to work 100% remotely (except travels required)         
  • You are homebased in Europe
