Role Responsibility

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a key role at Dechra in Iberia as the company is growing fast and data analysis is gaining importance to support business decisions and improvements.

The BI Analyst is ultimately responsible for making available and clear all data necessary to contribute to translate the strategy and plans into clear reports by using relevant data. The tasks and responsabilities include:

 

  • Analysis of sell in and sell out data across all the business areas.
  • Management of the TARGIT master data (customer and product)  ensuring the reliability and veracity of data.
  • Validating development requests from the business allowing Targit reports improvement and upgrades.
  • Management of the CRM data and reports (maintenance and update).
  • Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports to analyse comercial stategies.
  • Monitoring data collection.
  • Involvement in budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Evaluation and process of the data to facilitate the decision taking from sales, marketing and business managers.
  • Develop strong internal relationship with the sales team to understand the market and support them.
  • Ensure the connection between CRM and marketing.
  • Providing user support services to ensure problems are remediated quickly and effectively.
  • Providing training (Targit, Salesforce, BI software) for new users and new functionality for existing users.

The Ideal Candidate

 SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

This job might be for you when you have:

  • A higher education or degree within  the area of Computer science,  Economics, Finance, or related bachelor degree.
  • Significant experience of Business Intelligence systems.
  • Ideally a minimum of 2/3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to develop key and beneficial relationships with stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial networking approach to enable the growth of the business
  • Ability to structure and organize effectively and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
  • Natural leadership skills to lead high performing teams
  • High level of Excel use
  • Knowlegde of SQL/Power BI/Tableau/Targit/ Salesforce
  • Ideally based in Barcelona
