The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced digital analyst who specialises in digital marketing data to join our fast-growing team. As a Digital Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting insights from large data sets, generating reports, and providing strategic recommendations to optimise our digital marketing efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of digital marketing analytics, data analysis techniques, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You will play a vital role in shaping our marketing strategies and driving business growth.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Lead on the delivery of our the data maturity roadmap and establishing a truly data-driven culture at Dechra
- Lead on the development of new and existing data platforms and technology such as GA4, Google Tag Manager and our Customer Data Platform
- Perform in-depth analysis of digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, conversions, ROI, and customer behaviour, to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement tracking mechanisms and tagging strategies to ensure accurate data collection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics for measuring campaign success.
- Create and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimising marketing strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark performance and identify industry trends and best practices.
- Identify data-driven opportunities for improving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across various digital channels.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to identify target audience segments and assist in the development of personalised marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing analytics to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and data support to stakeholders across the organisation, including marketing managers, executives, and other relevant teams.
- Ensure that all digital asset developments follow the Corporate branding guidelines and enhance the Corporate brand.
- Responsible for own personal health & safety.

Essential
- Proven experience in a digital analytics role, with a focus on digital marketing data analysis
- Previous experience with a Customer Data Platform required
- Strong proficiency in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and SEO
- Proficient in data analysis techniques, including segmentation, regression analysis, attribution modelling, predictive modelling, and data visualisation
- Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and A/B testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
Desirable
- Previous experience of working in pharmaceutical company
- Experience of working in a global company
- Experience with CRM data is a plus
