Finance Assistant

The Opportunity 

To provide timely and accurate support to the finance team, by assisting with the approval of supplier invoices and processing of approved invoices onto the Oracle system for Skipton, Bladel and Divisional entities.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Maintain the Finance Inbox
  • Assist with the approval of supplier invoices
  • Process payables invoices on the Oracle system
  • Manage invoice and supplier queries to ensure adequate and timely resolution
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements      
  • Ensure strong internal controls are maintained
  • Support Finance System improvements, proactively offering solutions to improve ways of working
  • Assist with month-end and internal controls
  • Assist with year-end requirements and audit queries
  • Develop strong working relationships across the sites
  • Adhoc finance duties as required, including holiday cover

Package Description

36 Hour Working Week + Every other Friday Off!

Working hours 08:00 -16:30
