The Opportunity 

As a member of the North America HR team, the HRBP will be responsible for delivering the people plan in support of growth in the US.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Develop and deliver an HR people plan to support growth in the US
  • Align the people strategy with business objectives
  • Develop a recruitment and retention plan with a focus on quality and speed to productivity
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to prioritize and fill vacancies with the right people at the right time
  • Partner with stakeholders in the business and centralized support functions ensuring employer branding, sales training, and incentive plans support the people plan and drive revenue growth
  • Identify risks to the people plan and recommend solutions
  • Collaborate with global commercial HR leads to realize common ways of working across the business
  • Identify and support learning & development opportunities
  • Support the roll out and delivery of HR initiatives as needed
  • Inspire the North America commercial team by being an ambassador of the Dechra Values

The Ideal Candidate

  • Portland, ME - Kansas City - or U.S Remote
  • Project Management – Developing a comprehensive HR people plan supporting growth initiatives within a commercial sales division
  • Leading People – Coaching, meaningful conversations, talent development, succession planning
  • Ability to develop HR plans including reward, engagement, and transformational change
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting a commercial sales organization/division
  • Strategic thinker capable of delivering innovative, pragmatic solutions with high business acumen
  • Comfortable communicating at all levels
  • Comfortable presenting information in an inspiring and credible way
  • Sound knowledge and application in employee relations, talent development, employment law and employee engagement
  • Experience working within a matrix environment in a global organization highly desirable
