The Opportunity 

Based at our offices in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, this is a highly varied role which will see the successful candidate take ownership of mostly below the line marketing campaigns, because a lot of our products are regulated medicines.

The Marketing Manager role comprises of an interesting mix of B2B marketing to distribution partners and veterinary practices activities. Using data and insight the Marketing Manager will work with the different functional teams (including technical and regulatory) to deliver and adapt brand / product campaigns that support growth through driving a mix of compliance, increased market penetration and ultimately increased customer’s customer recommendations. 

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales through adoption of campaigns by our partners.
  • Ensure campaign execution utilises multi-channel marketing as well as regional manager sales initiatives.
  • Combine creative flair and analytical thinking to deliver marketing plans that will take the brands into an ever-changing future.
  • Ownership of internal engagement and training on product brands and customer segments for all relevant areas of the business within the scope of the International markets.
  • Proactive analysis and reporting of industry, competition and market trends to benchmark brand and customer segment performance, feeding insights into the International team to identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
  • Support longer term commercial planning (product forecasting, margin analysis and budgeting), working closely with customer service and demand planning teams.
  • Bring passion and an eagerness to learn to the team – look for outside ideas for inspiration, demonstrating flexibility in approach towards an ever increasing digital future.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in product / brand management or within product marketing
  • Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution and positioning
  • Familiarity with latest marketing trends and best practices
  • Ability to conduct research and analyse data
  • Digital Marketing experience is desirable
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or other related field
