The Opportunity
Dechra is an international specialist veterinary pharmaceuticals products business. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, and sales and marketing of high-quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide.
The Project Manager will assist in the management of Dechra’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain Division’s Strategy & Transformation workstream plans. They will work on multiple concurrent projects with international project teams and will be interested in helping wherever expertise allows. The Project Manager will be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented with a commitment to ensuring projects are completed according to the agreed plan.
They will work closely with Transformation Workstream Leads and team members across functions to update timelines and tasks in Microsoft Project monthly and support teams in understanding critical path, managing risks, ensure project management documents are up to date, and assist in Portfolio level reporting.
Role Responsibility
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- To support the Programme Manager in the development and implementation of project activities that align with the strategic and transformation goals.
- Support the Workstream lead with the set-up of the project governance and ensure that change management skills, processes are in place in alignment with the PMO function
- Tracking progress status for individual workstreams within projects as directed by Programme Manager, including milestones, actions, KPIs.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to collect, collate, and analyse KPI data to produce monthly and weekly performance reports.
- Work with the Transformation Workstream Lead and Finance on the management on managing and reporting the project budget including accurate financial forecasts as required.
- Ensure benefits tracking is in place and well evidenced to ensure optimal financial results.
- Ensure team members across the programme are aware of processes, tools, and templates.
- Provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and Transformation Work Stream Leads, ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of records.
- Provide direct support for selected projects/programmes including, but not limited to, co-ordination of meetings, capturing meeting minutes, consolidating actions and reminder notifications.

Knowledge of project management in the pharmaceutical industry.

An understanding of Project Management in the Manufacturing industry.
