Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

• work closely with Manufacturing, PDRA and others in support of all purchasing requirements
• scheduling, purchasing and expediting of direct and indirect materials/services in support of all departments
• supply of assigned commodities, parts, office supplies, laboratory materials
• ensure that all material has arrived on specific deadlines and into stock
• solving supply issues as delay, damaged or returned goods, logistic and other
• analyses raw material lead times, safety stock levels, and inventory turns to maintain raw material inventories at levels consistent with company objectives to support production requirements
• negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best quotation
• review purchase order acknowledgements for compliance to price, delivery and other terms and conditions
• resolve order discrepancies such as non-conformances, shortages, or price discrepancies with suppliers
• verify accuracy of materials received per order; verify invoices to ensure payment terms and discounts are accurate
• request samples and production first articles for evaluation of new product designs and potential suppliers
• periodically measuring purchasing performance using performance indicators
• any other related duties as required and/or assigned
