Data Administrator, Supply Chain

The Opportunity 

To support Supply Chain in administrative duties.

This role supports Planning/Scheduling & Procurement within Supply Chain.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Data Capture • In collaboration with others within the Supply Chain team, develop and maintain databases and data analytics necessary for projects implementation and monitoring. • Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources. • Perform data entry, either manually or using scanning technology, when needed or required.
  • Data Reporting • Interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings. • Develop graphs, reports, and presentations of project results to timelines.
  • Communication • Communicates in an effective manner with the Managers and team regarding ongoing projects, work activities and other concerns. • Promotes effective communication and working relationships within Materials Management team and other departments.
  • Other • Performs other duties as necessary for the smooth operation of the department and the hospital. Work with subject matter experts to understand and assist with context in data systems and processes.  Review and handle all correspondence including drafting of responses and produce official correspondence as required.  Manage incoming/outgoing emails and prioritize items as necessary.
