The Opportunity 

To support the Manufacturing & Supply (M&S) HR team and wider operational business by the effective administration, co-ordination and facilitation of key HR activities, maintenance of HR data, compliance, development of KPI reporting and provision of regular and ad-hoc reports.

Ensuring effective management of labour workforce planning for the DPM&S organisation, ensuring budget compliance and optimising data for improved efficiency. Work with Divisional HRBP to assist the HRD and wider M&S HR Team with the delivery of HR projects and annual talent management, reward and planning activities.

Role Responsibility

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • Act as assistant, administrator and co-ordinator of key M&S HR activities and change initiatives, adding value to the wider Dechra team, by being an Ambassador of the Dechra Values and driving the One Dechra approach, including the HR agenda.
  • Work with the M&S HR team to leverage effective use of the Diamond HRIS with a particular focus on data integrity, developing HR reporting capability, and acting as a super user within the team.
  • Develop super-user capability with regard to applicant tracking system in order to support wider M&S HR Team with queries, and to leverage value from the system.
  • Work closely with the HRD M&S in developing forecasting and reporting processes to support headcount reporting, workforce planning and budgetary activities.
  • Co-ordinate data from M&S HR Team to deliver consolidated, accurate and timely HR reporting.
  • Support effective recruitment and induction processes within UK M&S. (job postings, response handling, setting up interviews and assessments, working with others to co-ordinate induction activities for key staff as directed by HRD M&S)
  • Provide advice and guidance to central line managers on HR queries.
  • Plan and co-ordinate specified central training and development activities, (venue selection, supplier management, communications) 
  • Support annual HR cycle activities, including pay review, talent management and succession planning, through the provision of data and communication materials, organising and facilitating meetings, progress monitoring etc. 
  • Contribute to broader HR initiatives and projects including Employee Engagement Action plans through active participation within DPM&S HR group.
  • Maintain databases, reports and records as agreed with HRD M&S.
  • Manage M&S employee lifecycle process documentation adhering to legislation.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reports and presentations on behalf of HRD M&S and wider team.
  • Spot and implement opportunities to improve internal processes and procedures.
